Elfreda Dali

Elfreda Dali, is a collaborative, creative fashion and illustration studio producing versatile clothing, accessories and art collectibles. The brand celebrates opposing perspectives towards masculinity and femininity.

The result is a modern wardrobe with conceptually themed  luxury inspired by the cross- pollination between British and Nigerian culture.

Elfreda is a multidisciplinary artist with textiles as her core medium.

Her design process is influenced by broad research seeking to incite conversations around cultural theory and diasporic identities.

Before a formal education at Ravensbourne University she was the youngest designer at Africa

Fashion Week London 2012.

Following her award winning graduate collection debuted at Graduate Fashion Week, she launched her eponymous label in 2019. Shortly after she taught the pattern cutting short course at Ravensbourne and the mentoring programme for

undergraduates at Northampton University.

Some of her most recent work has been featured at Lagos Fashion Week and Arise Fashion Week where she was one of the awardees of emerging talent for Arise 30 under 30 2020.

In 2021 she curated her first group exhibition titled ‘Erudite’ at Alliance Francaise featuring both her fashion and visual art work made partly from fabric waste accumulated from past collections.

The illustrations from her visual art works are often featured as prints in the collections and are an integral part of her design process.
